JBL’s collaboration with Yankees player Oswaldo Cabrera took an unexpected turn when he sustained a major injury early in the 2025 season, forcing a dramatic change in direction for his announcement video late in pre-production. Motion Bazaar’s team nimbly pivoted the creative approach, crafting a new story and style that would allow the project to continue filming while he recovered. Focusing the narrative on the vibrancy and tight-knit community of the Bronx, the new direction still feels quintessentially New York and allows Oswaldo’s warm and humble personality to take center stage.
